Vera Nazarian’s quote completely portrays my feeling of Sunset. On an evening, I was siting on my deck and marveling at beautiful red and orange colors of a sunset. The eye-catching sunset inspired me to capture that movement in my painting. This painting has special place in my heart, as it is my first attempt of incorporating tissue paper with pastel. The textured layout provides depth in sky. I hope, my “Evening in Saint Charles” can just as easily be your own “Evening in Peoria” or another’s “Evening in Provo.”
